no.34 you guys and you folks (Let's beginさん)

"You folks" is something that I do not even hear anymore, but it sounds really southern to me. States in America like Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, and South Carolina may have people who say this, but I have never heard it anywhere else. It is definitely not something you should say to your superiors.

"You guys" is something I also cannot imagine saying to any of my superiors. I am sure there are people who say it, but it is something that younger people many use when talking with their friends or people of the same level.
For Example,
I might go to my friends during lunch time, and say, "Hey, what are you guys doing after school?" It has a very friendly feeling to it.

The safe phrases to use are things like, "you all" or "everyone" but even safer is, if you are talking about a company, you can say "this company ~~."

If you have some kind of context you can show me, I would have a better idea, so if you get the time, please explain a little more.
